Ah, Espana.
This 700-year-old--and you read that right--Spanish farmhouse is located in one of the most picturesque villages in Palma de Mallorca.
No longer a farmhouse, though, now it is a private family holiday residence. But the architects worked hard to create a balance between the rustic past and a clean, modern future. It's quaint, and yet fresh, a bit worn, but brand new; it's the perfect getaway.
In addition, La Finca’s landscape design was inspired by the rough and dramatic Mallorcan terrain, which surrounds the property. Its gardens incorporate an orchard, ancient olive trees, a guesthouse and a 15 meter pool, the centerpiece of the garden, designed to appear suspended over the property’s orange orchard.
